I've seen trailers for it on TV and think it looks like it would be a good film. It was supposed to be out on 27th April but I've checked the movie listings in Belfast and it's not being shown at any of the cinemas or even in the 'coming soon' section.
Does anyone know if there is any cinema in Northern Ireland showing, or intending to show this film? When will it be out on DVD in the UK?The Painted Veil?

IMDb gives release dates in various countries (not Ireland), including 27/04 for UK - the date you have...
DVD details are as follows: 2007-05-08, which is either 8th May, or 5th August !! Take your pick...USA always puts the month before the day, and here in the UK vice versa, so not too sure which this will be, as the year is written first...

The DVD comes out in America on May 8. I just got my review copy yesterday. It should hit Ireland/UK pretty soon afterward.
