What is going on with the movie of HOUSE, the Christian fiction, not the Fox TV show?

There was a book called "House" by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. At one time I heard it was going to be made into a movie, but have not heard anything about in a long while even though I remember reading that they were filming. I read somewhere a while ago that there was distribution issues with it being Christian fiction and the company was not allowed to release a R rated movie and was waiting for another distribution company to pick it up. Anyone know if there has been any updated status of it and is it going to be shown or come to DVD anytime soon?What is going on with the movie of HOUSE, the Christian fiction, not the Fox TV show?

Hello dear friends.

I created this thread to make it official.



I know there are a lot of questions regarding the movie House.



Here is what I know and what I can tell you.



1) We are working with Lionsgate to be the distributor for House. That deal is being confirmed as we speak, although not sure if the ink is dry.



2) We are planning a Fall 2008 release. In my humble opinion [no this is printed on any posters yet] I would way Aug or Sept. However, there may be some opportunities for you to see it this summer. We'll keep you posted on TedDekker.com and the newsletter for those opportunities.



3) Rating. From some people I hear R from others I hear PG-13. Obviously, we would like it to be PG-13.
