every time I want access my cd or dvd rom , it comes up with a box telling me that thers no disc, as soon as I open my media player it all comes upWhy do I have open my media player to access my CD or dvd rom?
You probably have an older computer or CD drive, or both. You didnt list your computer specs so it is hard to pinpoint. There can be a number of reasons, one of which is that your CD drive is going bad. Other reasons could include incorrect driver for your CD. You should go to the manufacturer website and get their latest version, instead of using the default Microsoft driver.
