Need Help Building My Computer System?

hi, i always love doing alittle homework and getting peoples opinions when trying to build up my next computer system. i been saving up, and i think im about ready to build.

These are little bit of the things i wanted, but not sure if anything else would be better.



Cpu - Intel i7 Extreme i7-980X



Monitor - kind of wanting if anything better would come out, but maybe

VX2439wm



Bluray/DVD Drive - Plextor PX-B940SA



Mouse - Logitech Performance Mouse MX



Video Card - Maybe ATI Radeon HD 5970 Graphics , or if anything else coming out soon ?



and i still need help for a Motherboard, Ram, Fan, and im sure the Cpu comes with a fan unless recomend a better one. and Case. And a Power Supply.

Wow... you must have quite a bit of budget if you can afford that. I would get at least 6 GB of RAM and make it DDR3. I don't know much about motherboards, but I do know that Asus sells very high quality motherboards. 1 or 2 fans are good, unless you are an extreme gamer, or fans give you a headache. If so, get a liquid cooling system. Things like graphics cards come with their own fan.

this case comes with its own power supply which is 450 watts. that should be more than enough
