Help please!!!?

My friend's 17th birthday is coming up. What should I get him?

He's the type who doesn't really need anything. He doesn't need CD's because he has an ipod; no need for DVD's because he can get them from friends, doesn't watch tv, no need for games because he plays online games... i just dont knoe what to get him! He isn't those "dirty boys," so dont suggest playboy or any of those stuff. I know that he likes to play the guitar (which he has) and he likes playing sports like tennis and basketball. Any ideas on what this guy would like? I want it to be something more special than the usual giftcards and clothes because college is coming soon! Um.. no alive gifts because he already has goldfishes. i just want special ideas, not dirty, not weird. So please help. Thanks!!!Help please!!!?
well..i personally like personalizing my gifts. So..i'd suggest you find a picture of the two of you or a group of friends or something and put it into a picture frame (you could also edit the pic or smth..like..upload it onto the comp and play around with it on paint or smth like that)...a nice picture frame ..since he likes sports and guitar, you could try and find a picture frame that's decorated around the frame with tennis balls or guitars or basketballs.



haha..that's what i did for my friend and he...was surprised cos i made him look like a girl in the picture. gave him one of those 70's women hairstyle and a pink headband.



or you could get smth that looks really nice and get it engraved with his name.

Dinner and a movie. Anything to do with guitar playing. A personal painting of yourself. I could paint it for you, just need a photo. I paint from photos. That's what I do best, in terms of method.Help please!!!?
how about something u made like a picture frame with a picture of u two? or how about some boxers? or how about some shaving cream?
What college is he going to OR wants to go to? How about a sweatshirt from that university. Or a picture of you in a very nice frame. A leather notebook for class or a very expensive pen. Fountain pens make wonderful gifts and can be engraved with "For your birthday". Good luck.
next time cook him dinner, then after tell him you have a suprise 4 him but he has 2 wear blind fold!!!! take him by hands hand %26amp; lead her into the bedroom where there are rose pedles all over the bed %26amp; floor!!!! %26amp; have a tray w/ all different types of massage lotions!!! %26amp; a big stuffe tedy bear on the bed!!!

Speaking from experience, as he is entering college, he would very soon appreciate a book bag. We carry the majority of our books and supplies all day, so having something sturdy and well made from you would become his favourite gift.

I think you should get him something really special...that you made. Maybe a pottery tea set: you can paint a cute saying like "Cheers Forever" or "Drink Me, You won't shrink". Since he plays a guitar, you could get tickets to a music concert. Teddy Bears are always cool. If you know the collage he is going to, you can make the bear a hat with the name of the collage.
