When i come to burn a dvd it encodes ok then as soon as it starts to burn theres a problem causing a error why

i use power to go to burn, i can also burn cds no problemsWhen i come to burn a dvd it encodes ok then as soon as it starts to burn theres a problem causing a error why
Could be any number of things, have you tried making sure the only thing running on the PC is the burn software, it could be failing if another program kicks and an used the CPU time?

erm like what programme/ machine are you using?? Bit of an open question here. I have problems sometimesa using winavi to encode then burn, cured by not using winavi to burn but to come out and then select the file manually in nero to burn
