What was first the Eureka 7 manga or anime?

Usually it comes manga then anime and a lot of times the manga is way better and more detailed than the anime. However, I think that for Eureka 7, the anime was first. And it also has tons of detail and seems to include everything there is to know. But I'm curious about the manga. Is it worth buying or is it exactly like the anime? I'm trying to find the dvds and I think volume 12(supposedly the last dvd volume) will be coming out soon so I wanna get it. The only thing is that it'll probably be hard to find in stores, so should I look into the manga instead???hm.....What was first the Eureka 7 manga or anime?
They were both made in 2005. The manga was 4/17/2005 and the anime was 4/17/2005. They were both released on the same day.....which is unusual. I think you should get the manga....it costs less and it probably has more details and you can take it around wherever you go.....much better. %26gt;.%26lt;

So from that information the manga came first.

%26gt; I think you should get the manga, it's always nice to read the original. However, with the manga and anime release dates so close together I wouldn't expect them to be too different. Maybe a difference detail wise, but other than that - same thing.
