Is there any movie that is as epic as "Avatar," and matches the visual/sound/acting quality?

I absolutely loved Avatar, and am finding it hard to watch other movies :) . . .Is there any movie that is close to matching Avatar in every way?

I thought the acting in Avatar was not that great. No movie has gotten that far in special effects though.
yeah try the re-issue of apocolypse now, absolutely stunning for it's age, lots of explosions, and good war type stuffIs there any movie that is as epic as "Avatar," and matches the visual/sound/acting quality?

p.s. avatar had shockingly bad acting and very unlikeable charcters to the extent of me wanting the bad guy with white hair to win, in the end.

Apocalypse Now and Avatar should NEVER be mentioned in the same sentence! AN is in a completely different league. The OP is wanting a movie with poor acting, as emphasised in his question. I suggest - The Postman. Post apoc and with acting so bad you will want to stick pins through your ear drums. Enjoy!
