1- All those games would run easily on that system. When you replace your old graphic card you can max most of the latest games.
2- It would work since it has a PCI-E slot
3- ATI HD5770/NVIDIA GTS250 are great but not too expensive graphic cards.
4-You only need stock coolers that comes with the CPU when running it at normal FSB, clocks and voltages.
5- I'd say 450~500W is enough since most of the latest cards only requires 450 and yours doesn't even need that much. Just get a decent/branded PSU like Gigabyte.
Yes, Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H supports crossfire.Help!! Buying PC for Gaming?
i suggest you also check out Allianware gaming PCs --- its one time investment for 3-4 years right - get the best even it is dearer by another 8-10 kHelp!! Buying PC for Gaming?
BEST IDEA WOULD BE TO BUY AN ASSEMBLED PC RATHER THAN A BRANDED ONE.
I'd recommend you upgrade to an Intel i5 or i7 CPU. The i7 (aside from being faster) also has 3 memory channels, which would allow you to run 3 GB of RAM for a nice performance boost.
Don't waste your money on a 2GB graphics card. No game currently takes advantage of that much memory, and by the time there are games that do, you'll be wanting to upgrade to a more powerful card anyway. Your 9400 GT will work just fine on that motherboard, but that's a very low end card and several years old, to boot. Something like a ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB would be great for your system.
Crossfire is connecting two ATI cards together- this would not effect your CPU cooling needs (unless your chassis has really bad airflow, in which case you should use a better case, not CPU fan). So, if you're not going to be overclocking the CPU then you really don't need anything better than the stock CPU fan that comes with it.
Unless you get a really high end graphics card, a power supply in the range of 600-700W should be plenty. If you do shell out for a pricey card you'll probably need another 100-150W higher.
