The graphics card is pitiful.

The only affordable graphics cards that can play modern games are the Nvidia 8600, 9500, and ATI 3500 series and higher.

You can get them for just over $1000. Asus has the best gaming laptops in that range, You really can beat them for under $2000.

You can get Asus laptops as Newegg.com, which is a very well respected online retailer, which I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of equipment.
