Or is there anywhere I can get it from?
I have a couple already but there is no way to tell if they are legit web sites.
For example:
http://www.dvdone.tv/details.php?pid=387
http://www.superbdvdentertainment.com/product_info.php?products_id=348
http://www.clickdvdshows.com/product.php?productid=3132049
Any other suggestions about how to get the series would be greatly appreciated. Is the tv show Ed coming to DVD anytime soon?
Q: I enjoyed watching the TV show "Ed" when it was on NBC several years ago, and have been anxiously awaiting it coming out on DVD. I have checked with many stores, but have not been able to get an answer. Do you have any information if it is out or coming out on DVD?
A: I wouldn't hold my breath, unfortunately. "Ed" star Tom Cavanagh has said on a few occasions that the hold-up -- as it so often is with TV shows not making it to DVD -- is securing the music rights. "Ed" used a lot of music in its episodes, and was produced at a time when series didn't automatically secure home video rights for the songs at the same time they were paying to use them in the broadcasts. So the choice is to either spend a lot of time and money to get the music rights all over again, or to use a lot of time, but not much money, to replace all the songs with something else.
